Staff

Pat Wing - Neighbourhood Manager

The Neighbourhood Manager's role involves working with others to co-ordinate services and initiatives within Balsall Heath to improve the quality of life for the local residents.

Main duties include:

Organise and facilitate Neighbourhood Strategic Partnership meetings and using these to help partners and the Forum work closer together to improve Balsall Heath.
Working with partners such as Police and Health in order to improve Balsall Heath.
Supporting the Chief Executive with meetings and linking up local services and partners.
Facilitating and organising joint service provider meetings and the joint action team.
Identifying and securing contracts for Forum projects and environment work.
Implementing and reviewing the Neighbourhood Development Plan.

Abdul Hamid - Senior Neighbourhood Warden

The Senior Neighbourhood Warden's role involves enaging and supoprting residents to ensure they are able to live fuller, socially richer, lives through skills they have developed from the support of the neighbourhood wardens. Main duties include:

Mentoring and supervising staff, apprentices and volunteers.
Maintainence work includes; school grounds, houses, streets and open spaces.
Supporting resident association meetings and providing support with taking action.
Ensuring staff are providing appropriate support through their specialist services in safety, environment and resident engagement through education.
Liaising with local voluntary & faith groups to support development in Balsall Heath.
Working closely with the Chief Executive & Neighbourhood Manager to implement actions from the development plan to improve Balsall Heath.

Sanjeer Duggal - Senior Environmental Officer

The Senior Environmental Officer, specialises in the environmental maintenance of buildings and green spaces in and around Balsall Heath. Main duties involve:

Managing, supervising and training the environmental team.
Environmental work includes; gardens, car parks and parks maintenance.
Completing individual contracts including; individual households or tenants, and specific tasks identified from walkabouts of the area.
Implementing maintainence and environmental contracts for Balsall Heath.
Purchasing, maintaining and stock taking of plants, tools and safety clothing.
Supervising the maintenance of the Tree Nursery grounds and buildings.
Maintaining the growing of plants and vegetables throughout Balsall Heath.
